• Basically, i’m trying to print a few ‘manuals’ from the Codex section like: https://codex.www.ads-software.com/HTML_to_XHTML

but the prints are missing words on the edges so it makes no sense wasting paper.

Is there a print friendly version for the webpages?
    Try a different browser?

I’m dying to soak up all this information in learning all about wordpress!

    Thanks.

    ok…moshu…thats true!

I live in nYc so I can’t just pull my laptop out on the train to read stuff offline…but i do want to save the forest so I try to use recycled paper.

by the way…’print friendly pages’….how can I explain…well…i’m trying to print out instructions but the right hand side of the printed document of https://codex.www.ads-software.com/HTML_to_XHTML or the others, come up with missing words.

On some sites, like google maps, if you want to print out a map, there’s a button set up so that you can print that webpage properly….hope that helps. And again..thx for your input.

ill tell you what i do when i want to print something thats being stubborn like that — I copy the stuff into a text file, and then print that. That might help a little, and if you pick and chose what to copy (since you dont need the menu, for instance), wont spend as much rainforest ??

that is a good idea though, you would think they would have print friendly pages.

    lol…thx..whooami

guess thats what i’ll do until WordPress gets with the ‘print friendly program’….lol..i’m quite shocked that since wordpress is all about standards and such.

well….i’m looking forward to reading ALL their manuals cause i luv it!

Peace & good vibes to all!

Hi there, I often have this problem. Now I always print web pages with text to pdf.
You can get a free version here
    https://www.dopdf.com/

Basically its just a printer driver, but when you print it saves to a .pdf file
Hope it helps, I’ve found it invaluable. mike.
