Does unwanted things

  • It put a thumbnail of my own site in my <head> (using mshots at wordpress.com) which slowed my site down until I noticed. That functions makes sense for some people, but should be optional. I’m now using WP Screenshot.

    It doesn’t slow down your site. It just adds a link of image which is hosted on other servers. Helps you share with better thumbnails on social networks like Google Plus and Facebook. And if you still have any doubts use this plugin – https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/p3-profiler/ to see the load time of all the plugins you are using.

    Hope you rate it better after clearing your doubts.

    It doesn’t show up on the profiler, because it’s just a link to the thumbnail which is created at mshots (wordpress.com). But it influences page loading time and slightly lowers your Page Speed result, as far as I can tell. It should be an option one can switch off. That would make the plugin excellent.
