This theme has a brain AND a heart

Bold Headline combines two qualities I’ve always admired and emulated in communications design: a) it’s well crafted, functional, and beautiful, and b) at the same time, it also has a soul.

I’m a graphic designer turned writer. So, while I wanted a WordPress theme that “telegraphed” the fact that my site is about the words, I still wanted it to be visually just right. Bold Headline accomplishes both those things, but the soul part is that subtle nuance of editorial design that’s embodied in Christine’s sensitive typography and composition. There’s so much more here than meets the eye: historical reference, art, even humor, in a way.

I’m loving Bold Headline and expect to keep it my theme for a long, long time. But I’m also looking forward to what more will come in the future from this smart designer.
