    Hmm. I do not allow usernames that have blanks in the username.
    What would be the correct url of the profile in that case?

    should be fixed in version 1.3
    using native buddypress create userlink method now to build link.

    How can I change the avatar size?

    You have to go deeper into the php code, some parameters have to be passed to the function that retrieves the user’s avatar.

    This threat is about the username problem – could you please mark it as resolved?
