Has potential

  • Toda Zeev! This plugin has potential to do what i need but alas, i have to find something else. This could be great if more options for customization were available. I can make them disappear with CSS but this is not a “clean” job. For example:
    – Give us option to disable post title, all the words (value “0” shows “…” right now), the “read more” link (and option to edit that text).
    – Give option to set the size of the thumbnail, right now you force me to use height=150px while width remains 100%. My images are of different proportions so they stretch. Again, i can force CSS to set the dimensions but it’s not cool.
    – It’s nice that i can add more then one gallery on the page, creating multiple galleries, but there is no way to visually separate them. Each gallery could use an option for a title.
    – Also would be nice to have an option to have multiple galleries in tabs.
    – About the category ID. If you can allow categories by name that would be better.
    – Also, i wish the photos that are being pulled from the posts would NOT be featured photos, but rather a first photo embedded in the post itself.
    I understand that when you created this plugin you needed just these basic options for whatever project you were working on. In the future, maybe you will be able to develop this plugin a bit further…

    thanks a lot ! i will take this info and improove the plugin for sure.
    i think the next vertion will include TABS..

    I agree with the idea of having all those options.

    Also, having the gallery pull the first image of the post would be a life-saver (rather than only using the featured image)

    I’m gonna try this plugin out. Looking forward to an updated version!
