I think you meant awesome instead of awful! ?? The meaning of that is the exact opposite ?? Thanks for the review!

Using WP3.91 – when I try to go into “settings” through the plugin part it tells me:
You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.
I am logged in as administrator, and have no issues with any other plugin settings…

What am I not doing right?

rick_nl, a plugin or something else must’ve messed up the Roles of your WP install. We check for admin rights when displaying the settings and if you as an admin don’t have that, that’s a problem ??
We’re using the following capability (it’s pretty much a standard for plugins these days afaik) to check if current user should have access to the options:
    https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Roles_and_Capabilities#manage_options

One other thing could be that we hook too early and could be circumvented by calling https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Plugin_API/Action_Reference/admin_menu instead of the currently used https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Function_Reference/add_menu_page I’ll try to look into that!

    Cheers,
    Mark

    Hi Mark,

As I stated : I do not have problems with any other plugins that have “settings” in their options.
I have tested the slider on my Local machine as well and there I have the same issue. I know I have absolute full access and am Admin on there. Could it be that you hook in to Super-Admin instead?
    Just a thought…

    Cheers
    Rick
