Have to re-upload images

  • As far as I can tell, there is no way for Slideshow Gallery to use images that I’ve already uploaded to the site, except by typing in the url for the image. You also can’t upload a bunch of slides at once. It’s a pity, because otherwise this seems like a good plugin for me, because I’d like to be able to have multiple slideshows on one page.

    Yes, you can use images already uploaded to the site. For example, if you uploaded images to a post/page on the site previously, you can pull the images of the post/page into a slideshow using [tribulant_slideshow post_id="X"] where X is the ID of the post/page.

    Same thing goes for uploading multiple slides. Go and create a draft post/page and use the media library by clicking “Add Media” above the editor to upload multiple images to the post/page and use the same type of shortcode as above. You can keep the post/page a draft, you don’t have to publish it.

    The plugin supports multiple slideshows per post/page as needed.
