can’t select database

  • when i go to the install page on my site i get error message

    can’t select database, even though the database is there and has permission to access it?

  • If you are sure everything is correct in your wp-config.php file, and the DB_USER does in fact have all privileges, then talk to your host, maybe they can shed some light on the subject.
