Feed not working and giving error

  • Your feed has an extra space at the top. For proper XML parsing, the XML document needs to start at the first line.

    The cause of this is usually white space after an end PHP tag (“?>”) in either your theme’s functions.php file or a plugin file. The normal solution is to open each of these files; look for an extra line at the bottom; and if you find such a line, to remove the whitespace, so that the PHP end tag is on the last line.

    I see that you’re using the misty-look theme and I just downloaded the latest version. The functions.php file has an extra line at the bottom. If you remove that, then I think you’ll be set.

    I have tried changing the theme too and nothing has happened. That is till giving error. Any more thoughts?

    I have modified all the .php files and removed the blank lines but it is still failing. Any other way to correct it. Can some wordpress support people respond to it

    I have re-installed the WordPress 2.5. Its working fine now. Problem is with version installed with yahoo installer.
