• Very mitigated opinion about that plugin,
I would say it cannot desserve a 4-5 stars for it lack of finitions , don’t expect a good behaviour when it comes to display.

The admin side is pretty handy, it has legitimately the flexibility of a custom post type, you set a bank of ‘media’ (logos), you can assign them a custom ‘category’ (‘sponsors 2014’, ‘links to friend’, ..), then you have a default AND independant control over each ‘category’ sliders… (‘sponsors 2014’ will be vertical with 200px big logo etc)

But on front-end start disapointments, it’s rather minimal and featureless.. logo are partially displayed at the end of block, ‘responsive’ not really efficient, at least the height parameter on my theme (while other ‘responsive’ designed plugins behave perfectly,…) and it seems I’m not the only one.

I’ve ended up using a shortcodes plugin (installed for other purposes) to customize the appearance, and tweaked code to obtain expected behaviour. Should it really be so in 2014 ? … not sure.

Overall it feels like this plugin was developped to study/ demonstrate a good custom post/taxonomy implementation, and it really seems well made, but the display side fails to reach average standard behaviour.
Excepted if you need a reliable management of many many logo categories, you’d better go with something else : I discovered a basic carroussel feature within shortcodeUltimate that does the job with better visual satisfaction while it’s 2% of the plugin goal, may be a good start to reshape the display code btw ?

    Thanks for the plugin anyway,
    Peace.

PS : I didn’t wanted to be rude writting that, doing that plugin is far out of my reach and I respect the effort and expertise it required. Nor I intended to advertise shortcodeUltimate, I just picked it up randomly to achieve few tasks, some others are may be better, your choose.
