Okay for small sites, bad for high-traffic sites
-
Had only good things to say about this plugin when I started using it for some of my clients’ smaller projects, so I installed it on 3 of a client’s high-traffic sites. My bad.
I saw at least a 500% increase in server load (database and cpu) after the last couple of updates. Tweaking apache, mysql and setting up nginx on my site’s server didn’t alleviate the problem, so I deactivated the plugin.
It’s a bit of a shame it can’t be used for bigger sites, as I really like the plugin.
