OK, but some problems

This seemed to be a good way to customise my login/registration/password reset system. Not especially easy to figure out how to make it look right with my theme (Magazine Basic) but it’s free and, frankly, there don’t seem to be many useful alternatives. (By the way, as a Drupal user, this seems odd to me – why don’t WP designers want more freedom here?)

Anyway, the deal-breaking reason for discontinuing using this plugin was that it conflicts with a very handy plugin called Testimonials by Aihrus – a very easy-to-use testimonials slider I really didn’t want to give up on. S8 conflicts with it such that my testimonials (placed as a widget in my first sidebar) don’t show up until after the user has logged in, at which point it works fine.

Because of this, I had to abandon S8 in favour of Pie Register, which does the job as expected and actually seems to be a lot better than S8 anyway. Sorry S8! :0/
