This is a really valuable bit of feedback that nicely summarizes your experience with the plugin; yours is a unique perspective, and one that hopefully will guide others who want to make an informed decision on which calendar to use. You make a great point on the shortcode issue: this is unquestionably one of our top requests from the community, and we are looking into the best approach for implementing.
