• It sends me notifications, but always more than one. Sometimes the subsequent notification is a few hours after the sale, sometimes it’s a few days after. That doesn’t work for me because I’m never certain whether a ‘sold order’ notification was real or not. But I found a better solution–for me at any rate.

I spoke with the folks at Pushover.net because I couldn’t get much help from this plugin’s author. The Pushover folks told me that if you go to the WooCommerce Settings page and select the ‘Emails’ -> ‘New Order’ tab, you can add ‘[email protected]’ to the New Order Email ‘Recipients’ box. This way, WooCommerce will send an email directly to Pushover (after a new order comes in) and Pushover will set off your Pushover notification app on your phone. This is done ‘Without Any Additional Plugin At All.’ You can find the instructions at https://pushover.net/faq#technical-email.
