Update…
Suddenly, all of the modules used to make the various settings in the dashboard disappeared on a site. I can’t do anything with this plugin. It’s now completely useless.
I disabled all the other plugins to check for a conflict. No cnflict.
I tried to delete the plugin and reinstall, including the database tables and the file in wp-includes and reinstall. That did not work. I am guessing I am missing some key data here.
There is no real help from iThemes, no support whatsoever unless you buy the premium version.
Worst of it is I think this ghost of a plugin is inhibiting me from using other Security plugins.
I have used this on many installs and, except for one miserable interlude in March of last year when the plugin crashed site after site, this plugin has always performed well for me.
For the record, I am ignoring last spring.
