Doesn't work

I’m running WordPress 4.1 Rundown theme. I’m running category pages; news, sports, health, entertainment, etc. I only want news on my front page. This plugin doesn’t hide any posts from my front page. The link to “leave feedback and report bugs” links to a url that is no longer in use. For all of you who are having problems with this plugin try “Opt-in Front Page”. This plugin works great for me!
