• Hello All,
I have 3 small websites and 1 WordPress blog. I would like to convert all 3 of my websites into wordpress blogs, so that my website and blog are all in https://www.mysite.com

I would also like to “push” my existing posts over the past year into the 3 blogs of my 3 websites and guarantee that all future posts get “pushed” to my websites.

Is this possible for someone like me who is not a champion coder? I have looked up “converting html to wordpress” on the codex and google, but everything I found seemed a bit too adventurous for me…

  • You said yourself that your sites are small, so manual cut and paste of content doesn’t look like a huge chore.

As to “pushing” posts, the preferred method is actually “pulling”. You designate one blog as the preferred posting location and post there. On the remaining blogs, you deploy FeedWordPress or a similar plugin and pull the posts from the blog on which they are posted originally…

    Thanks NC!
Have you done such a conversion yourself? I have read that it is beneficial to search engine visibility due to the dynamic content, but I still fear I will lose some rankings. I am willing to take a setback though, for a future comeback.

Ah, I’ve used FeedWordPress before. I never realized it would enable user friendliness in a case like this. Great idea!
    Thanks!
