• Great plugin does exactly what is says. Two things that kept it from getting five stars. First, your google plugin has more languages. Second, why does it float down your site. When you scroll down it follows you. Why?

    Hello,

sorry for late reply. We didn’t get any alert. Here are the answers:

    1) The Google plugin has more languages simply because Googe supports more languages than Bing. Is not up to us what languages are included, is up to the company who actually built the widget. Bear in mind that is the the free translation widget, by Bing. We just created an admin interface for easy setup on WordPress.

    2) Because it’s the way Bing has built it. If you send us an email with your site, we might be able to provide a fix for you. However, you should know that altering the widget’s behavior is against Bing terms of use. You can contact us here:

To answer your question Lion70, we designed it this way following customer requests. They wanted to ensure the user know they are still on a translated page and can exit from the widget, regardless of where they were in the page vs. having to scroll back up.

If you have any question on Microsoft Translator and it’s various implementations (widget, web front-end bing.com/translator, Office, Skype Translator, IE, etc…) feel free to post you questions on our team technical forum: https://www.aka.ms/TranslatorForum.
