• After I click on the name of the forum e.g. Politics it shows the topic then under that you can create a new topic. At the bottom of that it says ( Comments are disabled ). Comments are not disabled. I check by logging out and posting using a different name than my admin user name and had no problem commenting. My website is:

This will be an issue with your theme and is not a bbPress issue.

Really, that’s your answer. Blame the theme. I realize that ( Comments are disabled ) came from my theme’s comments.php but, a good plugin should be able to work with most themes. I used other plugins that use comments e.g. Disqus, Muut, and didn’t have this problem. By the way I did fix the problem by deleted the text in comments.php I may give your plugin a higher rating after I see how good it is working but, I got to say I’m disappointed that you didn’t even offer any advise on how to fix it whether it was your plugins fault or not.

just to point out Lion70 those other software you mentioned works like that because all the content is hosted somewhere else and you get an iframe to display that content on your site.

bbPress has its content on your site/host and is easier to customize than the other two you mentioned, because customizing iframe content is hard unless you customize specific settings on the softwares site , which might end up being a paid service.
