Completely broken

  • This plugin is completely broken for us. Nothing but a black box instead of a video player. It has been like this for weeks now. This has happened multiple times now. The player works for a few days, breaks and we must search through hundreds of posts about fixes to this issue. Usually these “fixes” are completely useless.

    If you’re not already relying on this plugin, go somewhere else.

    Hi Niustem,

    We apologize for the inconvenience occurred. We understand that the player shows black screen and this issue occurs multiple times. This issue is a cross domain issue and this does not occur for everyone. We have customer using the plugin without this serious issue.

    Please follow the below solution to fix the problem.

    Please edit videohome.php in the file path /wp-content/plugins/contus-video-gallery/front/view/videohome.php and find the code $site_url = get_site_url(); and replace that with the code $site_url = home_url();.

    If you still face difficulties in using the plugin, please emails us at [email protected], so we will take immediate action and give you the permanent solution.
