• Tested the form I created but an email never arrived. Share it doesn’t work since its so customizable and has alot of features.

I’ll change my rating once email arrives.

None of those steps helped me or worked.

I think its because you assume I have a webhost email. I don’t. Do you have a solution for that?

    Who is your host?

    Myself through a synology server.

So how do you send e-mails? Are you using the WordPress plugin or the PHP version?

We primarily use two gmail accounts. We do not have our own domain email currently.

You might like to read the following thread even though it is not for this plugin. However it will help you understand how to set up a gmail account.

    There are two scenarios here:

    • You can’t send any Gmail from your WordPress at all
    • You can usually send Gmail from your WordPress, it’s just not working in the case of Fast Secure Contact Form

If your situation is the second one, then probably you are not using smtp.gmail.com to deliver your e-mail. For most users this means configuring an SMTP plugin to deliver email to the Gmail server directly.

If your situation is the first one, then probably you are having authentication problems and need to switch from password-auth to OAuth 2.0 or ‘enable insecure apps’ at Google.

I usually can use Gmail and wordpress. Usually through the synology’s email which forwards to gmail from “synology.me/wordpress”

I also get synology updates and notifcations from that.

I did attempt to use the SMTP plugin. I disconnected authenticator and other security features to get it to work but it still didn’t work.
