Option for customizing categories…

Is there a chance to add an option to select specific category assigned to the posts? Currently plugin displays all recent posts. I would like to get something like on your web site: https://demo.mythemeshop.com/truepixel/ Featured Category ( posted below the Our Sponsors). Thank You!
