• The title says it all. I downloaded the plug-in, installed it, and my site immediately crashed. I can’t even access my admin page. Even deleting the files via FTP is not helping. I have no idea what to do. I would not use this plug-in!

  • This is a very good plugin and you are giving 1 star just because there is an incompatibility on your site!?

You have to remove also the entries in the .htaccess file.

    See here.

I don’t have a .htaccess file, but I figured it out anyway.

Yes. How else am I supposed to rate it? Based on your experience with it? This plug-in immediately crashed my site, so to me, it’s garbage. If it works for you then great, I’m sure it already has your 5-star rating.

Your site = your host + your server + your server configuration + your WP install + your WP version + your theme + your plugin set + your WP and plugin settings + your hacks + …

Now you throw in a caching plugin. A caching plugin is not sandboxed, it interacts with all these factors above. The site crashes now.

And from that you are concluding that the caching plugin is the culprit? You must be a debugging genius ??

Let’s say, tomorrow you set up a new site, with a virgin WP, a different theme and with no plugins yet. You install the caching plugin. And it works like a charm.
The you’ll come back and say “hi guys, it’s not garbage, it’s wonderful!”?

But I’m sure you won’t do that, because you already know that it’s garbage, right?

And, BTW, most plugins are written and maintained by individuals, often for no profit. If you think you discovered a major problem caused by the plugin (what you obviously do) it would just be fair to post this in the support forum. Then the author has a chance to investigate and maybe trace down a bug, or, if it isn’t a bug, he can tell you what is likely to cause the incompatibility in your case.
