Spam Increase 10X after installing.

After installing this plug-in with the default settings my referrer spam skyrocketed. The spammer list they provide is extremely short with only about 20 sites on the blacklist. There are other spam blocking methods online that block over 8000 sites. 4webmasters.org, the worst one of them all, isn’t even on their list. No support, no best practices, or tips to help resolve issues. It also prevented permalinks from working so I can’t create a new post with out disabling the plug-in, posting, then re-enabling the plug-in.
