How to Import all USA States

  • Set the delimiter to | and copy and paste the below:

    This plugin only imports categories to the default posts type. If you need it for a custom post type then just dig into the database in the term_taxonomy table and change the default ‘category’ to your new registered taxonomy that you created in the functions.php. If you have a lot of rows to change then use the below sql statement to do them all at once.

    UPDATE wp_term_taxonomy
    SET taxonomy = ‘NEW_CAT_NAME’
    WHERE taxonomy = ‘category’;
