Once again: Fatal Error; Allowed Memory Size of 8388608 bytes exhausted.

  • I realise that this error has come up MANY times for everyone. I have been through many forums and support threads for it too. Nothing has worked :/

    When I’ve entered my username&password to log in, I get this message:

    Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 35 bytes) in /home/katie/public_html/wp-includes/formatting.php on line 31

    So alas I changed the memory in php.ini to 32. I changed the .htaccess PHP memory to 32 also. I even tried larger numbers here. I even tried adding that little code i think it was “php_memory,”32” or something; after the <?php in formatting.php. Nothing works.

    My other site paffu.org had the same problem but was fixed easily. It has almost the exact same layout, coding, same WP version and same WP plugins AND same host.

    Also when I tried to visit some other pages of my dashboard (i used paffu.org’s dashboard to get the links), there were more memory exhaust errors and when I tried to fix them with that same code after the <?php; it didn’t work either. Someone please help > <!!
