• I’ve installed and used WP many many times. I have never encounted this error before. When editing a page, in the url bar it says (or I get 404):

    ===
    wp-admin/page.php?action=edit&post=3&message=1&_wp_original_http_referer=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.kmysite.com%2Fwp-admin%2Fedit-pages.php
    ===

    I did a search through the wp files and found the str_replace for 2F% in 3 files in wp-include. It looks correct but I have no idea why its not working.

    I am soo confused! I also disabled all plugins and still get the problem. And I’ve tried some of the htaccess stuff other people were getting 404’s with.

    Anyone else have this issue?

    I am new to this technology. I have uploaded all my information on word press to my new website and made lots of edits with no problem…until now. I get a warning ‘are you sure you want to navigate away from this page…’ and regardless of which of the two choices offered, I still can’t have the changes get onto the website. When I contacted netfirms help, they had the same problem and suggested I try here for help.

    CyberWoolf: That 404 error is probably due to a mod_security setting that your web host is using. Please ask them to investigate it. We had this happen on a brand new server and were able to tweak the mod_security rules a little to stop it.
