Comments not importing from other WP blog

I am moving from a wordpress.com blog to a www.ads-software.com blog and just ran the import using the xml file zipped into a .tar (per the advice I received on these forums). It has pulled all but my last three posts, but NONE of the corresponding comments. How can I remedy this??
