Password protected pages – no error message with incorrect password

  • I’ve got some password protected pages (not posts, in case it matters).

    It’s not that big of a deal, but when you enter an incorrect password, the page reloads and no “incorrect password” message is displayed. The page just looks exactly the same.

    Entering the correct password of course works like a charm, but I’d like to give the user some sort of feedback if they’ve entered the wrong password.

    I thought perhaps this was due to me screwing something up while customizing templates, but I just tried it on a fresh install, and the problem still exists.

    any thoughts?
