Excellent plugin, but strange innacuracy

  • Hey there, first of all let me start by saying this is by far the best stats plugin I have found (lightweight and doesn’t slow things down) to date. Unfortunately I am having a strange issue where the plugin is reading all of my visits as coming 100% from links, and nothing from the search engines!
    I know this isn’t right as I monitor my performance regularly and I am in the top 5 for quite a few of my keywords on this particular website.

    Any idea what is up?

    Hello,

    Thank you for your review. Most search engines switched to using the https protocol. While this is a more secure option, is prohibits your site to get the keywords used for the search.

    That way the analytics plugin might think it is just a normal link instead of a search engine. I will take a look to find a possible workaround.

    i have the same problem. Do you think is possible to find a workaround ?
    Or it is improbable to find a solution, next time?
