Stop pingback comments

Yeah, I too would like this option. I hate pings, they are worse than spam comments. Just having an option to have ping=off by default so I don’t have to remember to clear the checkbox each time would be nice.

Have you bothered to look into Settings on your dashboard? It’s there…

On the Dashboard there is not a Settings tab. I’ve looked through all of the other options available and I don’t find a universal way of turning the pingbacks off.
