Installing a Theme in the New WordPress

  • Hi there WordPress lovers!

    I am posting this cause I am finding VERY difficult to change the main themes on WordPress right now (December 2014) ….

    I go to “Appearence” > “Themes” and can’t upload any zip file or directory to change the theme…

    Is there any other way to do it?
    Do I have to use a self host?

    Hope there is a solution

    Sounds like your site is hosted on WordPress.COM? If so, you cannot ever use any themes from outside WordPress.COM. It’s not allowed there – that’s one of the limitations of that hosted version of WP.
