The plugin seems to work ok, nothing premium as I can see.

If offering a plugin, offer support. Compared to really useful plugins where the authors are all over support forums, support pales. Either help or don’t.

Multiple issues on Support threads left weeks+. 30% Resolved total. 300k Active Installs out of 4.5 mill downloads? 6.6% success. Active support would encourage donations but $99 for premium for a simple question not in support forums, no.

A recent topic on .css injection hacking, no followup.

  • Hi Islo,

My name is Kiefer and I’m a member of the support team at MailPoet. I wanted to reply to your review personally ??

While we do have over 300,000 installs, our actual team is only about 10 people. That includes developers, founders, marketing staff, and support staff. We are entirely bootstrapped. As you can imagine, it’s a bit tough to cover every support venue.

So, we decided that instead of spreading support resources equally, we’d focus primarily on our Premium users, as they are the backbone of our entire business. We try to answer questions in the forums as often as possible, but ultimately our responsibility is foremost to our paying customers (as they keep us employed!) Our premium package includes a bunch of features, but above all, includes faster support for any plugin and sending issues.

    Thanks for understanding.

    No problem.
As stated in multiple posts, css injection tends to be ignored (as in your reply). Perhaps one must upgrade to Premium for hack free version, not sure.
    Perhaps a disclaimer would help.
    All the best.
