Breaks WordPress 4.4.2

  • Since I upgraded to 4.4.2 I have been unable to figure out why password emails are not being sent out after user registration. I tried switching this plugin off from it’s settings page but no difference. It was only when I deactivated it from the wordpress plugins page that suddenly my emails started going out again!
    This is likely due to changes in the wp_new_user_notification functionality…

    Phew – I would rather have an ugly registration page than no new users!

    Sorry you had issues, but Custom Login does not handle any email overrides. Meaning there is no plugable functions within Custom Login. So there is no way for it to disable wp_new_user_notification notifications. Please re-consider your review.
