@mrcavallo – Much appreciated. Yea They decide on pricing (IE no plugins go above ~$18-22), as well as if the product isn’t exclusively available there and I’m not a top tier seller then I only get ~50% of the sale price, yet still do all the work. Plus the sales are 1 off, IE no renewals, which basically equates to lifetime support and updates for $18, hard to do that and grow a company without making the featured list a couple of times. Even then support dies for products after so long there. Where as, as long as Popup Maker stays profitable I can hire others to maintain if I need to walk away.
My reward comes in that I can do this, make plenty of money to support my wife and kids, and still get to make my own plans. Popup Maker is just over a year old and has shown steady growth month after month, both in user base and sales, so the best rewards are still yet unseen.
