• I’ve been using Time.ly All-in-one Calendar on my website since January. I switched from another calendar because I liked the look and the various ways to view a Time.ly calendar. I’ve also had some very good success lately with the Time.ly support forums and with their support helping me build code into my site to customize my calendar even more.

A couple of negatives … I have to brace myself for updates because something always seems to conflict. The most recent update shut down a couple of my other plugins and a few functions of the calendar that were working perfectly prior to update I have not been able to get back.

Also, the only option to submit events is via button and the submit form opening in a small window. It would be VERY helpful to have a shortcode that embedded this form into a page or some sort of way I could have submit in my menu that opened into the form. As it stands now people have to click on submit in menu and then click the embedded submit button to open the firm. Some people have left comments with events on the page because they don’t even realize the button is there.

  • Hey kwm229,

    Thank you for your feedback!
We know that plugins sometime conflict amongst them sometime, and we’re trying to address those situations one by one… Please let us know what plugin do you think had a conflict with ours.
Thank you also for the idea you mentioned, and would be useful if you can raise it on ideas.time.ly so other people can vote and subscribe to updates on it later on.

    Thank you again,
Aristotel Dascal, VP of Product @ Time.ly

It’s definitely conflicting with the Revive Old Posts Plugin … it shuts it down and when that is active you can no longer use the Expand option in the agenda view. Also was just informed by a reader that they can no longer submit on my submit page. I told them just to hit the blue button. Guess what? When they sent me a screen shot there was no button. It only shows up when you are logged into the system and when you hit it it brings you directly to backend of events. A submit form no longer pops up anywhere.

    Hi kwm229,

I’m sorry to hear that you have issues with our plugin. I checked if there is a conflict with the Revive Old Posts Plugin and I do not see any issues in both plugins, possible that another installed plugin causes conflict?

Submit issue: please go to Events > Settings > Add-ons > Frontend Submissions and activate “Allow anonymous users to submit events”.

    Thanks,
    Ben

Wait. I had this function before the update. Did you now change that to a paid function with the update?

Wait. I do have Frontend submissions uploaded and activated. And it’s still not working.

kwm229, Front end submission is a paid plugin with yearly subscription. Do you have a active subscription for it? Please please send me your timely account email to [email protected].

    Thanks,
    Aristotel
