Simple and VERY effective!
-
Setup is as simple as this:
Install, activate, go into WP Fastest Cache Options and check 3 boxes, “Enable”, “Don’t show the cached version for logged-in users” and “Clear all cache files when a post or page is published”, Submit, enjoy!
If you want to see the difference, run the following from a Linux shell before and after enabling WP Fastest Cache:
sudo ab -c 90 -n 10000 https://your.site/
You may need to halt the job before it completes when you don’t have WP Fastest Cache enabled. Monitor your server to make sure it doesn’t overload! But remember, ANYONE can run this command against your website! You may as well test your own server to prevent a problem, and WP Fastest Cache does a fine job keeping the server humming along even if someone is attempting a “kid sister” DoS attack like shown above.
