I've got a very quick response and resolution

  • Amazing support! Cristian has replied for my question very quickly and helped me resolving my problem.

    The plugin works as expected with simple products. After I uploaded my product feed to FB the pixel helper identified my products by SKU.
    But there is a little problem with variable products ’cause the pixel does not contain the SKU of the variations but can find the main product SKU.

    They are working on a new update what hopefully will resolve this.

    Just a short mention, the plugin works with variable products and you can do Dynamic Ads with no problem.

    The issue here was the client feed missing main SKU for variable products.

    Starting from version 3.0 it will be possible to decide what data to use for variations (main product or variation), so users will have more control of this aspect. Main SKU will still be required for the ViewContent event at least, because at that point we don’t know what variation to use. Variation SKU will be used once the product is added to the cart.
