This plugin is a scam, and utter bullshit

  • This plugin does nothing to improve page speed, and it pollutes your wordpress installation. Uninstalling it will leave lots of dead code behind.

    I experienced that it would serve stale content on the pages even after i deactivated it. It would totally ignore my purge attempts and keep serving stale content.

    The only solution was to uninstall the plugin, and then remove the .htaccess changes, and the different folders it created in wp-content/
    – cache
    – w3c-config

    The biggest WTF was that this plugin actually did NOTHING to improve the speed of my pages.

    Steer clear folks!

    WP_supercache is probably a way better option as it generates static HTML files – which is literally the fastest way you can serve content to a user.
