• Hi,
Implemented and tested today and all works really nicely! I had been using Matthew John Denton’s WordPress Amazon Associate but his plugin had not been updated in MANY years nor is it even in the WP Extension directory…

Yours is very similar but based on modern code and currently supported: this is a world of difference.

My only caveat is that the plugin in using your URL for its redirection (unlike the now dead WordPress Amazon Associate). This means that I become dependant on you for my amazon commission: if your redirect stops working, my links probably also stop working.
I would really love that there is an option to simply change the link without using your redirect.

But in any case I salute the tremendous effort!

    Thanks XBerg.

Glad that it works out of box for you – that’s what we aimed for: Amazon localization without any hoops to jump through!

We get your concern regarding the redirect URL. You should know that we have designed the plugin to ensure very high availability. We use pure Javascript solution – that means we can use CDNs like cloudflare to fully cache the redirect files and ensure 100% uptime for the service and not rely on our own servers. Without getting too technical, even though the redirect link is ours, it is almost always served through Cloudflare server and is always up no matter what happens to the server that hosts r.bestazonplugin.com

Using our URL also makes it easy for us to provide updates on the backend without requiring users to update their plugins (recent examples being a minor bug fix and support for Amzn.to).

However, we understand that some of the users will still want to use their own servers to host the URL. We plan to do than in future version once the plugin features have stabilized.

Again, thanks for trying BestAzon… hope you see more money flowing in!
    R
