Had Issues and couldn't upload the Stagecoach Version

Had a complicated task. My SFTP website was out of date by 2 years and had lots of plugins. I was using the staging site to avoid down time of the actual site while I made all the necessary updates to bring it up to date.

It was easy to set up the website at WPStagecoach. Instructions were informative and helpful. And it was great to get the chance to update WP and all the plugins. But when I tried to upload, WPStagecoach failed at updating the database and files with multiple tries.

Since I had backed up my site, it was relatively easy to revert.
I then went in and updated all the plugins as I had before. There were a few other problems introduced through this process but not really the fault of WPStagecoach.
One of the techs offered to help me upload the site. Since we can only do email contact, it was tough to coordinate. I’m not sure if she was trying to squeeze me in between calls or what her plan was to help. When I said, yeah, I need the help, I heard no initiation of helping to upload from her. I asked her to delay after a day of trying to get the site updated myself and then decided I couldn’t trust WPStagecoach in this instance.

I really like the team and the ease of setup. Tech emails are friendly. I wish there was a way to actually talk to someone. I think I will continue to try it with other sites or maybe even this one for a lesser change.
