• Free version is ugly. Sometimes creates a new second gallery when you try to edit an existing one. Perhaps there is an unpublished limit as to how many images can be in each gallery? You would thing they would put a note right on the page where you upload images. Adding watermark is ugly – cannot remove watermark – if you edit it and reapply it does not remove the previous one but now you have two watermarks. Sometimes will not watermark all images in a gallery. Spending way too much time redoing things I have already done because they didn’t look right or function properly. Not sure of full paid version as I have not tried it. Probably won’t purchase it due to how bad the free version is.

    @telesites,

    We do not have limitations on number of images per gallery. And creating a gallery doesn’t lead to creation of second gallery. You might have some sort of limitation or another plugin causing this issue. To add another watermark you need to select the images and press Reset button and then only after that add new watermark. And note that whenever you have issues, we are always happy to help you out. Thank you.

    Thanks for the clarification – appreciate the fast support as well. I will give this a try and see if it resolves the issues. Will the reset take any and all previous watermarks off the photo? Some of them have three.

    I can reproduce the issue now. I have a galley with 251 photos in it. I select the gallery and it opens to edit. I then check the Select All check box (it shows “Selected 251 items”) – I pick Set Watermark from the Bilk Actions drop down – I click the apply button… After a long time with the square rotating icon – it finishes and then when I look under Add Galleries/Images there is a new gallery named the same as the one I was editing but with a “-2” appended at the end of the name. This new gallery only has 20 images in it.

    Also on the reset option you mentioned – that works but it also resets any images that I had edited to turn from landscape to portrait. Of course the edit from landscape to portrait can only be done on one image at a time. So if 40% of the images need to be edited/turned and it takes 3 clicks for each one (edit, turn, close) – that is 300 clicks to get the images back to where they were before the reset. Might I suggest an option to select all the images that need to be turned and allow the turning to be done in Bulk Actions. This way the computer does the work instead of the end user clicking hundreds of times.

    Thanks for all the work you have put into this plugin. I will re-rank the program in the reviews for the great support.

    @telesites,

    Thanks for the feedback. You know we are always happy to help out our clients. I have added your suggestion of bulk rotation to the list of tasks for our developer.

    The stated error usually happens when there are server limitations. What I can suggest you to go to photo-gallery\js\bwg.js file and find the following line:

    var bwg_save_count = 50;

    here change the value of 50 to 20. This way the actions will apply to each 20 images. Hope this resolves you issue.

    Thank you!
