Hi Joachim, hi there at Intox,

first of all, I would like to mention that there is no doubt, that your plugin is awesome. I’ve been using it for quite a while now on many different sites and I love it.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t work in the current project, that I’m working on.

    Here is my problem:

I have two default sidebars (left and right, 3 column layout).
I would like to replace the left sidebar, when a user is on a WooCommerce Page.

I’m able to select the condition, enter the page-tags..”replace with” and all that.

But when I want to select “Select content type” the select field immediately flips back to the placeholder text.

Saving it doesn’t take any effect – the default sidebar is not replaced.
(it saves the condition terms, but not the dropdown selection).

I have tried this process in Firefox and Chrome, same result in both browsers.
In the widget view, it says, that the sidebar exists and also shows the widgets.
    (everything looks ok).

Here is a screenshot:Screenshot of the bug

Do I need a WooCommerce Extension for this? Or is it just buggy?

Thanks for your help in advance.

    Regards

    Toby

OK, I’m still working on the issue, just found some information that might be useful.

The replacement does work, but it only works on the child sites of the “my-account” sites of WooCommerce, it not being replace on the parent level of the “shop”.

So, I think there is another support topic which had a similar problem.

Thanks again for your help, no rush – I’m just turned on to solve it ??

Thank you for your kind words and for reporting this in detail.

So it sounds like you currently have 2 problems:

    1. Conditions are not saved properly.

Can you tell me the list of active plugins on your site? If possible, try deactivating them and see if the conditions can be added properly.

    2. Sidebar is not being displayed where expected.

Can you explain in more detail where you want the sidebar to be displayed, where it works, and where it doesn’t?

In general, you shouldn’t need any extension or custom coding to get it working with WooCommerce.
