• Just stared getting this error today – waited awhile, and still not resolving?

CURL error: “Couldn’t resolve host ‘api.flickr.com'”

As a photographer – not having my example images means I am losing money! This is NOT COOL!

  • Changing “Flickr API Wrapper Version” to “phpFlickr (alternative version) from inside plugin settings fixed it for me. Give it a try

I have also found that Flickr API can not respond for few hours/days sometimes.
I don’t exactly know if the premium account on Flickr can help to have better responses on APIs.

If the problem is always there you can try to change the phpFlickr version as suggested by En18Zone.

I try to change it to anything I get

    CURL error: “”

I’ve had this issue for a while.

The error shows both on the back end and where the code is displayed publicly on the front end.

I figured it out. Check the Recently Blocked Connections in your hosting.
