rename “home.php” to “blog.php”

Would it be better to rename “home.php” to “blog.php” internally within the wp template hierarchy? “front-page.php” can also be represented as “home”. So there is a little confusion when saying “home.php”. So “home.php” should be renamed to “blog.php” as this file is to show recent posts.
