Subcategories help

I have a food blog, and I use EasyIndex for my recipe index (see here https://marshasbakingaddiction.com/recipes/recipe-index/)

I have recently created a category (Seasonal) and subcategories for it (such as Autumn Recipes). How do I display the Seasonal Category in my Recipe Index which can be clicked on to view the subcategories which will also lead to the recipes?

I have ticked the Seasonal category in my recipe index but nothing is displaying. I have edited my posts to use the new categories, too.
