• I have two issues regarding missing dashboard options:

    1. My dashboard only shows my currently active theme. All other installed themes are not visible, making it impossible to easily activate a new theme. The themes area shows the name/screenshot of my theme with a 1 in a circle. There should be 6-7 listed themes.

    2. I have lost the option to view “Installed Plugins”. My options only show as “Add New” or “Editor”.

I have a .org installation (latest version) and it is not a multi-site. I’ve looked at permissions and all are set to 755. I tried moving everything to 777 and that had no effect. I deactivated all plugins and re-activated one at a time (did same with themes), but had no effect. I also tried editing capabilities in my access manager plugin to ensure ability to switch_theme.

    Has anyone else experienced this?

    Have you tried:
    – Flushing any caching plugins you might be running, as well as server and/or browser caches. Not just your browser, but any op cache or content network cache as well such as Cloudflare. That will solve many weird JavaScript issues.
    – deactivating ALL (yes all) plugins temporarily to see if this resolves the problem (plugin functions can interfere). If this works, re-activate them individually (one-by-one) to find the problematic plugin(s).
resetting the plugins folder by FTP.
    – switching to the unedited default Theme (Twenty Sixteen, etc.) for a moment using the WP dashboard to rule out any theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).
    – If all the above steps do not resolve the issue, then try MANUALLY updating. Download a fresh copy of the WordPress .zip file to your computer, unzip it, and use that to copy up all files and folders EXCEPT the wp-config.php file and the /wp-content/ directory. You may need to delete the old wp-admin and wp-includes folders and files on your server before uploading the new ones. Please read the Manual Update directions first.

    Hello,
Hoping you can help me. I installed Flippingbook and activated it but it’s not showing up in the dashboard. How can I get it to show up?

    Thank you

Themes not showing in multisite dashboards
I too am having the same issue.

    • I am not a novice but website design is not my primary occupation.
    • I have an adequate knowledge of html, css and child themes.
    • I have mounted a number of multisites using subdomains for language changes.
    • I have tried all the suggestions made by t-p above.
    • I have tried logging in to my dashboards in different browsers.
    • The problem is that in Network Admin I can see 4 installed themes, two WP themes, twenty seventeen, twenty sixteen (I deleted twenty fifteen) and 2 independent themes. In the english language dashboard only one theme shows up, the active one, and in this case twenty seventeen. There is no way to change themes. In the spanish dashboard I can see 3 themes. Twenty sixteen does not appear?

I am in the process of installing a child theme, twenty-seventeen-child. The directory is on the server. The style.css and functions.php files have been included. This does not show in the Network Admin.

Any view or help would be greatly appreciated. I include a screen shot for clarification.
