    Hello there!

I really want to use this plugin, but there are two error messages I get on the settings page:

Warning: file_put_contents(/wp-content/plugins/bbp-user-ranking/css/user-ranking.css): failed to open stream: Permission denied in /wp-content/plugins/bbp-user-ranking/includes/generate_css.php on line 7

Fatal error: Call to undefined function bbp_get_dynamic_roles() in /wp-content/plugins/bbp-user-ranking/includes/display.php on line 353

Not sure what is causing this, any idea? All folders have the right permissions.

Alright, I managed to get rid of the first error by Chmod the plugin folder via web ftp of my host. However, the second error is still there and stops me from activating everything on the setting/display page.

Fatal error: Call to undefined function bbp_get_dynamic_roles() in /wp-content/plugins/bbp-user-ranking/includes/display.php on line 353

Wordpress is also now up to date. Am I missing something, or could another plugin cause this?

hmm… I presume you have bbpress active – this function is calling one within bbpress.

Do you have an caching software in place?

    ok, thanks for posting that.

so you don’t have bbpress installed?

This plugin adds elements to the bbpress forum software. If you don’t have this, then this plugin won’t do anything.

Sorry, I totally missed that it was for bbpress only. Of course it wouldn’t work without it, stupid me.

But thank you for your great help!
