• I’d like unregistered users to be able to access a certain permission, but I can’t figure out how to set that. Am I missing something?

  • Hi Evan,

Sorry but groups plugin provides user access control, so if a user is not registered he is not a user but a guest.
However, for registered users access/restriction can be set easily.

    Kind regards,

    Aha, good to know!

Here’s the specifics of what I’m trying to do, but perhaps I’m just going about it the wrong way.

I’ve got a woocommerce store with public accessible products. There’s also a subset of products, accessible only by members of a specific group. What I need to do, is make it so members of that group can see all of their products, but can no longer see the public products.

    Any ideas?

I would suggest you to have at the Documentation to see the plugin’s features.

If this group couldn’t see the rest of the products that are public accessible, once they logout they would be able to see them. That’s because Groups plugin works with members.

Your case, as you describe it, works only if none of your products are publicly accessible. So, all your products will be accessible only by members of the Registered group, and some of them will only be accessible by the Premium group.

    Hope this helps.

    Cheers,
    George
