    Everything is working as described.

I have a french and english language site, with the ability to switch on top. Since I have activated the redirect it appears that I am stuck on browser language and can not switch. Is there a way for the user to manually change what has been automatically selected?

    Thank you

  • I have the same question.

    Thank you.

    Me too.
When the visitor has set his browser language in french, the site redirects to domain.com/fr. So far so good.
But on top of domain.com/fr is a flag to switch language and to go to domain.com. This is not possible. The visitor is redirected to domain.com/fr again…

What can I do about it?

Please not that this plugin forces you to have a redirecting site (/) and language specific sites (like /en or /fr). If this doesn’t fit your needs, please look for another solution. Professional solutions for multi language sites are WPML and qTranslate X. They work without the multisite concept. I compared them in this German article: https://www.bjoerne.com/wpml-und-qtranslate-x-im-vergleich/
